Venus leaves Libra, where she’s been doing her best to keep things on an even keel (but struggling, thanks to a square with Saturn) since late October, and shifts into the deep waters of Scorpio on November 22 (UTC) until December 15.

Venus rules relationships – romantic, platonic and professional – as well as finances. When she changes signs, it’s like the mood around how we relate to each other (and cash), changes. So what does that mean for you on a personal level?

Well, for one, Venus in Scorpio takes no prisoners. She wants to feel things deeply, to be desired, valued and to connect on an intense, soul level. If you’ve been unsure about a relationship, the internal voice of self-doubt may become so loud you can’t ignore it anymore. If you’ve felt undervalued or uninspired about your job, you may come to the realisation you need to move on. If people or friends have been triggering you in some way, you may have reach the end of your tether and snap.

Old hang-ups might bubble up. Things you thought you were over could resurface. There’s an element of, “Wow! Where did THAT come from!?” thanks to an opposition with Uranus (peaking 27/28 November).

Anything you’ve been sweeping under the rug will suddenly be too lumpy to ignore. This energy really forces you to throw back the carpet to see what’s going on underneath and ask, “Is this what I really want? Am I ok with this? Does this situation/relationship make me feel valued? Where am I ready to let go to make way for new growth?”

It’s big, potentially heart-wrenching stuff. Be gentle with yourself. Take a bath. Turn off your phone for a few hours. Do something to make yourself feel like a queen. This has not been easy work, so treat yourself. You’ve earned it.
